How to Fish in Pokemon Sword and Shield
Some fishing spots may be accessible from land, while others may only be accessible from water. If the player wishes to fish at a spot in the middle of water, they can only do so using the Poké Ride Lapras Paddle. The fishing mechanic in Pokémon Sword and Shield, however, is different from previous Pokémon games.
